Long Beach Street Food Fest is “Truckin’ back to the LBC” - October 9

The gourmet food trucks are returning to Long Beach by popular demand! It was clear with the overwhelming success of Long Beach’s first street food festival in July, participants and attendees alike, wanted a second helping. On October 9th, LA and Orange County’s preeminent mobile eateries will once again roll in to scenic Rainbow Lagoon Park with doors up from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m serving their delectable fare.

The Long Beach Street Food Festival “Truckin’ back to the LBC” will feature more than 25 of Southern California’s favorite gourmet food trucks, a beer garden and rockin’ live entertainment! Many of these trucks attract rock star followings, thanks in part to the latest Food Network hit “The Great Food Truck Race”. The Nom Nom Truck, will make an appearance along with Crepes Bonaparte, and Nana Queens.

You may want to try a Banh Mi sandwich from the Nom Nom Truck, or a crisp and gooey grilled cheese “Smoky Melt” with gouda, bacon and tomatoes from the #1 Truck in LA, The Grilled Cheese Truck? How about an order of “Fish N’ Gapes”- Deep-fried Alaskan Cod tossed with Fresh Grape Salad from the Komodo Truck. Whether your palate leans toward a pizza slice or “Korean pub grub” from the Ahn-Joo Truck inspired by Chef/Owner of Debbie Lee, you will be tempted to try them all. But leave room for dessert because there will be famous Coolhaus ice cream sandwiches, Del’s Lemonade and Sweet’s Truck red velvet cupcakes.

Click here for a complete list of trucks.

Enjoy cool ocean breezes and listen to the music of local bands Blue Steel and Cynthia Manley while you experience the truly amazing cuisine.

Tickets are $6 per person in advance ($8 at the gate). For more information and to purchase tickets, visit LBStreetFoodFest.com. You may also follow the event on Facebook (Long Beach Street Foodfest) and Twitter (@LBStreetFood).

The Festival is organized by the Long Beach Junior Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation. Ticket proceeds from the event benefit the Adopt-A-Teacher program. This program provides funds to local teachers to pay for unreimbursed classroom supplies which the districts no longer provide.

The event in July was a huge hit.  You do not want to miss this!
